Dear Aunt Sister Martha, In your charity pray for the happy repose of the soul of my dear mother who passed away quietly and unexpectedly on the eleventh. She had of course been helpless for many years, but no one was expecting her death. She had not been unusually sick.My sister-in-law found her dead when she went to get her ready for breakfast.Kieron had been with her about a half hour before and noticed no change in her (R.I.P.).I got home for the funeral.Mother's nieces from Rockford were also there. The rest of the family is well, thank God,but all miss dear mother very much. She was nearly eighty eight years old when she died. She was laid beside my dear father. that I trust, dear Sister, that you keep well;alson my dear aunts, uncles and cousins in Ireland enjoy the best of health.
